Empowering 70+ Educators Through AI & Pedagogy

Over 70 dedicated teachers from SK Pelabuhan Utara recently came together for a 2-day workshop on AI & Pedagogy, aimed at enhancing teaching practices through technology and modern educational approaches.

The sessions explored how artificial intelligence can be meaningfully integrated into the classroom, alongside innovative pedagogical methods designed to make learning more engaging and relevant in today’s world. Teachers participated in hands-on learning, open discussions, and practical exercises that they can apply directly in their day-to-day teaching.

The goal was clear that is to equip educators with fresh tools and insights that could help them better connect with students, improve learning outcomes, and keep pace with the evolving education landscape.

What made this workshop even more meaningful was the person leading it was Yus Amirul, an alumnus of our Didik-Kasih EduCare Program. Once a student supported under the very same initiative, Yus has grown to become an advocate for education and innovation. With a passion for giving back to society and a foundation in AI, he brought both technical knowledge and a deep understanding of the challenges teachers face in the classroom.

His return to contribute to a school supported by Didik-Kasih EduAid is a full-circle moment that reflects the long-term impact of educational support. It’s not just about helping students succeed in their studies, it’s about empowering them to one day give back in ways that uplift others.

At Persatuan Harapan Mulia, we believe in nurturing this kind of ripple effect. Seeing Yus lead this workshop reminds us why the Didik-Kasih EduCare Program matters. not just for individual students, but for the broader communities they go on to serve.

We extend our appreciation to SK Pelabuhan Utara for the collaboration and to all the educators who continue to shape future generations with heart, resilience, and an openness to learn.
