We are currently doing a project that raise funds for Rumah Hope which is a sanctuary for abused, neglected, and under-privileged children.We hope that our insignificant donation can bring some warmth to the childrens in the orphanage, giving them better childhood memories. Times are tough for everyone especially when you’ve lost both of your parents during your childhood. Therefore, we are here to support them with what we can offer. “A New Hope, A Greater Future”, a fund-raising campaign organized by Sunway University School of Hospitality and Service Management students. Our aim is to raise funds of RM 1,000.00, which would allow us to purchase daily necessities such as daily products, school supplies and stationery as well for Rumah Ozanam Klang. As University students, we would love to contribute and engage in this event to the best of our abilities as well as lending a hand to the unfortunates. Throughout the event, with the key activities that we were planning to do so, we hope that the children would be happy to continue their interest in learning as education is a very important aspect of our lives. Thus, we do hope that our contributions bring good support to the children. Pada tahun ini, kami mahasiswa/i Kolej Ungku Omar, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) akan menganjurkan program Anak Muda Nadi Malaysia Edisi ke-9 yang bertempat di Taiping, Perak bagi membina ukhwah silaturahim bersama anak-anak yatim di Pondok Pengajian dan Tarbiah Ukhrowi.
Hasrat NADI bagi menyantuni anak-anak ini dengan mengambil inisiatif melibatkan komuniti kampung berdekatan menjalankan aktiviti bergotong-royong, rewang serta aktiviti sukaneka yang mendekatkan masyarakat bersama dengan anak-anak pondok.
Dengan rendah hati, kami mengalu-alukan sumbangan orang ramai dengan seikhlas hati bagi memberi sumbangan dana agar program Anak Muda Nadi Malaysia Edisi-9 dapat berjalan lancar dengan jayanya.

Pada tahun ini, kami mahasiswa/i dari kursus kesukarelawanan, Universiti Pendidikan Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) akan menganjurkan program Membina Jalinan Masyarakat: Inisiatif Sukarelawan UPSI Dengan Murid Orang Asli yang bertempat di Sekolah Kebangsaan Behrang, Perak.
Tujuan utama program kami adalah untuk memberi bantuan dalam pembangunan kemahiran sosial, kreativiti, dan keyakinan diri dalam kalangan murid-murid anak orang asli.
Kesannya, program ini akan memberikan motivasi yang baru kepada murid orang asli untuk kekal bersekolah dan merasakan kegembiraan sepanjang pembelajaran berlangsung.
Sepanjang program dijalankan, beberapa aktiviti telah dirancang yang mana semua aktiviti tersebut adalah berpusatkan kepada murid. Dengan ini, murid-murid mampu melatih diri untuk berkomunikasi dengan baik dan dapat membina bentuk semangat kerjasama yang cemerlang.
Oleh itu, aktiviti yang dijalankan adalah disasarkan kepada murid orang asli dari umur 6 hingga 12 tahun.
Dengan rendah hati, kami mengalu-alukan sumbangan orang ramai dengan seikhlas hati bagi memberi sumbangan dana agar program ini dapat berjalan lancar dengan jayanya.
Mari bersama- sama menyumbang agar dapat memberi tenaga dan impak yang positif kepada anak-anak di sana.

I am Kar Ting and have been working in Great Heart Charity Association as a full-time social worker for at least a year already, without me realizing it~ I am really glad to be able to be part of the giving community to those in need, as I personally believe in the saying goes, “Helping one person might not change the world, but it could change the world for one person”. Right now I am raising funds for our sister NGO, Great Vision Charity Association under the #HarapanMulia fundraising campaign.I would like to begin with "Pay It Forward". I believe that most of us have received kindness from people around us. It could be someone buying you a coffee, or holding the door open for you, etc. Therefore, here I am giving you an opportunity to pay forward the kindness you have received. And for every donation you make to this campaign, no matter big or small, I will pay your kindness forward by giving small gifts to our beneficiaries' children to make their day! This is because one who is equipped with good education has a higher likelihood to secure a stable income to support themselves or a family in the future.However, the real truth is, not everyone is able to afford further studies. During my time working as a social worker, I have met different families and most are struggling to survive that they had to eat less, pawned their gold, borrowed money from loan sharks, or even resulted in having huge outstanding bills, chased out of their houses, and many more other difficult situations they had to face due to serious financial problem. Hence, many of them do not dare to even think about having their children further their studies, and encourage them to look for a job as soon as they graduate from high school.Hence, with Great Vision's Didik-Kasih Educare Program, it provides those who wish to further their studies with startup assistance and monthly allowance to cover their living expenses while studying throughout the period of assistance. This could provide the underprivileged a chance to consider sending their children to further their studies as they worry less about not being able to finance their child's education.Come join me to be part of the giving community and support those truly in need! Therefore, rather than helping them with something physically, I always felt that giving them the opportunity to educate would be a better choice.The above is also the reason why I responded to the crowd funding program of the Great Vision Charity Association, because one of the charitable program that this NGO focuses on is named "Didik-Kasih EduCare Program". This program is to provide financial aid to college students from underprivileged families.I also hope that in this crowd funding project, I can help to raise a donation of RM3,000. If successful, I will challenge myself to make 1,000 field-goal of mid-range basketballs!I hope that everyone can work together to help children from underprivileged families gain access to education. -

作为一名社工和义工，我们遇到了无数的贫困家庭，而最让我们心寒的是目睹了许多积极进取或有潜力的年轻人被剥夺了获得最佳教育体验的机会。 由于家里与大学的距离遥远却选择了这机会。大学对来自 B40 家庭的学生来说是一件昂贵的事情。 在某些情况下，上课根本不可能，因为更需要有限的钱来购买简单的必需品，例如租金、食物、水电费等。Didik-Kasih EduCare Program 是本协会的主要项目之一，该项目提供学习援助，旨在帮助潜在及希望继续高等教育的贫困小孩，为他们提供启动援助和十二个月的每月津贴，以支付他 / 她在学习期间的生活费用，以便他们能够专心学习。除此之外，宏愿慈善协会的另外一个慈善项目就是“陪购计划”(Shopping Buddy Program)，此项目是给予贫困家庭生活上所需要的物资。捐款多少不设限，您捐进来的每一分钱，我们都会无比感恩与珍惜。因为您的捐款可以让本协会能够持续帮助更多有需要被援助的弱势群体。The current COVID-19 outbreak, the recent Klang Valley floods, and the global economic downturn have driven many of the B40 communities even further into poverty and hardship. Many people are losing their daily salaries, putting them in an even more precarious position. Rakan Shopping Program steps in to provide a short-term solution to ensure that these B40 families living in PPR have access to safe and healthy meals every day.As social workers & volunteers, meeting countless poor families, what breaks our hearts most is to witness many highly motivated or potential youths are being robbed from the chance of them to get the best education experience possible. Living far away from Universities and Colleges means school becomes an expensive affair for students coming from the B40 community. In some cases, attending classes at all becomes an improbability, because there is a higher need for limited amounts of money to go into a simple necessities, such as rental, food, utility payments and etc. Didik-Kasih EduCare Program, I would rather call it an opportunity to change our youths’ future by making tertiary education opportunities accessible to them.Thank you in advance and I sincerely appreciate for your kind support, giving us a chance to help those in need on your behalf, I believe together we can make a difference in the lives in need.Sincerely, Andrew & Adeline -
Program Ukhuwah Bersama Anak Yatim Ulul Azmi merupakan sebahagian daripada program kesukarelawan yang dijalankan oleh kumpulan 1 bagi melengkapkan tugasan yang diberi di dalam kursus UPU3412 iaitu kursus kesukarelawanan.
Bagi menjayakan tugasan tersebut, kumpulan 1 bakal menjalankan program di Pertubuhan Kebajikan Ulul Azmi, Rawang, Selangor.
Selain itu, kami ingin mengumpul dana sebanyak RM500 bagi menyediakan makan dan minum bersama anak-anak yatim di pertubuhan Ulul Azmi. Seterusnya, kami juga bercadang untuk memberi sedikit sumbangan yang berbentuk barangan dapur seperti beras, minyak dan barangan keperluan dapur yang lain di samping sedikit cenderahati kepada anak-anak yatim tersebut demi menggembirakan mereka.
