Hello~~ Meet me Nazihah!Saya merupakan pekerja sosial di Persatuan Harapan Mulia. Ini perjalanan saya bersama Persatuan Harapan Mulia dalam membantu komuniti dan pelajar B40. Sepanjang 3 tahun perjalanan saya, banyak kisah sedih, kesusahan, happy dan pengajaran hidup yang saya dapat belajar daripada mereka. Ada yang struggle untuk membeli peralatan bayi, ada yang menabung untuk menyediakan kenderaan yang selesa untuk anak-anak, ada atuk dan nenek sama-sama berniaga di sekitar rumah untuk menampung kos sara hidup harian. Ada juga yang sedang berjuang untuk melawan penyakit yang mereka hidapi. Pelbagai cabaran dan dugaan yang mereka hadapi dalam kehidupan. Mereka berusaha untuk membuat yang tebraik untuk keluarga mereka. Pihak GVCA sentiasa cuba sebaik mungkin untuk menyantuni mereka untuk memahami perjalanan hidup mereka agar bantuan yang disalurkan adalah bersesuaian dengan apa yang mereka perlukan. Banyak kisah kalua nak ceritakan sebenarnya. Tapi ada satu kisah yang saya masih saya ingat.Kisah yang paling saya rasa dekat dihati adalah seorang kisah seorang Pakcik yang menghidap leukimia, dia kuat untuk lawan sakit dia. GVCA bantu dia beberapa kali untuk bantuan barangan dapur dalam program Rakan Shopping. Saya masih ingat lagi ayat yang Pakcik tu bagitahu “terima kasih bagi Pakcik bantuan ni, 3 bulan ni Pakcik dah tak payah beli barangan kering, duit tu Pakcik boleh la guna buat bayar grab nanti untuk pergi hospital masa buat rawatan dan bayar bil hospital”. Setiap kali saya hantar barang bantuan, dia akan jumpa saya untuk ucapkan terima kasih walaupun dengan keadaan yang tidak sihat. Pakcik telah meninggal dunia pada tahun 2021 akibat sakitnya itu. Sejujurnya saya sedih apabila dengar pakcik tu dah meninggal dunia, tetapi dalam masa sama saya cukup berpuas hati kerana saya sudah melakukan yang terbaik untuk bantu Pakcik ringankan beban dia. Mungkin benda tu nampak sedikit pada kita, tapi sebenarnya besar nilai tu buat mereka. -

I've been working in Great Heart Charity for a year now! To celebrate this, I am raising funds for Persatuan Harapan Mulia, our sister NGO which is now coincidentally running the #HarapanMulia fundraising campaign.Working with the most marginalised communities in our society for a year now has, quite frankly, broken my heart. I can't pick up phone calls because I don't know how to reject people in need in place of other people in need (which is why I do social media). It is hard, and often painful, work.While I do work here, I am by no means receiving a cut from this, nor does this affect my KPI. I'm doing this because people are hurting. People are losing their jobs. The fact that I am doing this from my work from home table is a privilege that not many have, & something that Persatuan Harapan Mulia is working daily to help.My goal of RM10,000 comes nowhere close to the charity's main goal of RM500,000. However, this big goal just goes to show the big dreams that the charity has to reach out to B40 communities across the Klang Valley to supply groceries through the Rakan Shopping Program, as well as to fund the studies of underprivileged students via the Didik-Kasih EduCare Program.Should I hit my goal, I will be shaving my head (completely, fully, no hair!) as my hair is currently dyed, which means I can't donate it. To give my hair a fresh start so that it can help others in the future, is on par with how your donations will give a fresh start to those affected by poverty and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.Donations can be made right here! 在我6年的慈善之路上，我看过了好多，好多的贫穷家庭。很多人很喜欢问我两个问题:1) 为什么你要做慈善？ 2) 什么原因导致这么多人穷苦至需要慈善的帮忙？老实说，我并没有很伟大或感人的原因去选择加入慈善社工这条路，纯粹以一个很单纯的心，想要从事一份真心可以去帮助真正的贫困人士的工作，可以接触到他们再帮到他们，感觉很有意义，就一直这样做了6年对于为什么这么多人会生活在困境里，我有一个听起来很玄的答案，但是的的确确是非常真实的，那就是 “教育”！ 在我们帮助的贫穷家庭里，很多父母都是从事比较低收入的工作（清洁工人，厂工，散工）等等。他们很想要给与一个好教育给他们的孩子，给他们去补习，上大学等等，可是经济上的他们根本没办法做到，所以孩子们的成绩都是平平，而且想到上大学需要每个月在外面租房和吃饭的生活费，他们反而就不鼓励孩子去上大学了。没有学历的孩子，到最后往往会步回父母的后尘，从事低收入的工作，导致 B40 community 已日渐长。今年4月的时候，我听到一个贫穷家庭的妈妈, Puan Rubayah 说到：“今天我很心疼，因为我的孩子告诉我她想要上大学，为了完成他的梦想，我向亲朋戚友借了 RM2900 来帮他偿还大学报名费，可是我的孩子告诉我他需要一个电脑来做功课，我却完全没有办法”当下听了，真的感觉很遗憾。如今的年代已经和以往不同，以前和政府借 PTPTN 已足够支撑学费和生活费，如今的年代 PTPTN 只能够给予学费，但是生活费，交通费，书本电脑等等的开销，贫穷家庭的小孩就算在学校假期去打工，都无法完全负担得起。 为了协助Puan Rubayah 和她的孩子, 耕心送了一架电脑给他的孩子，也亲身教导她的孩子如何使用这架电脑，也鼓励他们向宏愿慈善协会寻求帮助。如今，宏愿慈善协会（耕心姐妹协会）每月帮助贫苦家庭的孩子们上大学的生活费 RM250 长达12个月或更久, 再给予他们一次性RM1500 买书本或电脑来上网课等等。这些孩子都很听话，大学放假后常常会跑去打工来帮补家里的收入！我们只有给他们一个要求，就是在我们帮助他们的这个期间，他们得去做慈善的义工或举办小小的爱心活动，把我们给他们的爱心传给外面更多有需要的底层人士 如今，在新的一年2022里，宏愿慈善协会希望可以向大众做个凑款来继续帮助他们。RM30, RM50 或 RM100 都是对我们有很大的鼓励 爱心捐款： Persatuan Harapan Mulia （宏愿慈善协会） CIMB 800 360 0877感恩您的爱心! -
Pada tahun ini, kami mahasiswa/i dari kursus kesukarelawanan, Universiti Pendidikan Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) akan menganjurkan program Jalinan Kasih Bersama Pertubuhan Pusat Jagaan Limpahan Kasih Anak Yatim Dan Asnaf yang bertempat di Puchong, Selangor bagi membina silaturahim bersama anak-anak yatim di Pertubuhan Pusat Jagaan Limpahan Kasih, Rumah Limpahan Kasih Anak Yatim dan Asnaf Puchong, Selangor bagi menyantuni anak-anak ini dengan mengambil inisiatif melibatkan komuniti anak yatim dan asnaf dengan menjalankan aktiviti seperti teka maksud simpulan bahasa, silang kata, saringan air, bingo jawi serta aktiviti santai bersama dengan anak-anak yatim dan asnaf.
Dengan rendah hati, kami mengalu-alukan sumbangan orang ramai dengan seikhlas hati bagi memberi sumbangan dana agar program ini dapat berjalan lancar dengan jayanya.

We are running the raised fund for Rakan Shopping Program.Rakan Shopping Program run by the Great Vision Charity Association an organization dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged communities. We are currently running a fundraising to support 20 low-income families from PPR Hicom who desperately need our help.These families have been selected based on their financial situation, and they receive grocery assistance to help alleviate some of the burden of their financial struggles. Pada tahun ini, kami mahasiswa/i dari kursus kesukarelawanan, Universiti Pendidikan Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) akan menganjurkan program Membina Jalinan Masyarakat: Inisiatif Sukarelawan UPSI Dengan Murid Orang Asli yang bertempat di Sekolah Kebangsaan Behrang, Perak.
Tujuan utama program kami adalah untuk memberi bantuan dalam pembangunan kemahiran sosial, kreativiti, dan keyakinan diri dalam kalangan murid-murid anak orang asli.
Kesannya, program ini akan memberikan motivasi yang baru kepada murid orang asli untuk kekal bersekolah dan merasakan kegembiraan sepanjang pembelajaran berlangsung.
Sepanjang program dijalankan, beberapa aktiviti telah dirancang yang mana semua aktiviti tersebut adalah berpusatkan kepada murid. Dengan ini, murid-murid mampu melatih diri untuk berkomunikasi dengan baik dan dapat membina bentuk semangat kerjasama yang cemerlang.
Oleh itu, aktiviti yang dijalankan adalah disasarkan kepada murid orang asli dari umur 6 hingga 12 tahun.
Dengan rendah hati, kami mengalu-alukan sumbangan orang ramai dengan seikhlas hati bagi memberi sumbangan dana agar program ini dapat berjalan lancar dengan jayanya.

We are pleased to inform that we, students from Sultan Idris Education University for the Volunteerism Course (UPU3412) and the Co-Curricular Course on Recreation and Community Support in Special Education (KBK3113), intend to carry out a volunteer program called "Khidmat Bakti Siswa" located at PPDK Tapah, Perak.
The main objective of our program is to provide assistance in developing social skills, creativity, and self-confidence among special/disabled person. As a result, this program will provide a fresh motivation for them to experience joy throughout the learning process.
Throughout the program, several activities have been designed, all of which are focused on the person. Through these activities, they will be able to improve their communication skills and build strong teamwork spirit.
We humbly welcome public contributions wholeheartedly to provide financial support for the successful implementation of this program.

“A New Hope, A Greater Future”, a fund-raising campaign organized by Sunway University School of Hospitality and Service Management students. Our aim is to raise funds of RM 1,000.00, which would allow us to purchase daily necessities such as daily products, school supplies and stationery as well for Rumah Ozanam Klang. As University students, we would love to contribute and engage in this event to the best of our abilities as well as lending a hand to the unfortunates. Throughout the event, with the key activities that we were planning to do so, we hope that the children would be happy to continue their interest in learning as education is a very important aspect of our lives. Thus, we do hope that our contributions bring good support to the children. Program Ukhuwah Bersama Anak Yatim Ulul Azmi merupakan sebahagian daripada program kesukarelawan yang dijalankan oleh kumpulan 1 bagi melengkapkan tugasan yang diberi di dalam kursus UPU3412 iaitu kursus kesukarelawanan.
Bagi menjayakan tugasan tersebut, kumpulan 1 bakal menjalankan program di Pertubuhan Kebajikan Ulul Azmi, Rawang, Selangor.
Selain itu, kami ingin mengumpul dana sebanyak RM500 bagi menyediakan makan dan minum bersama anak-anak yatim di pertubuhan Ulul Azmi. Seterusnya, kami juga bercadang untuk memberi sedikit sumbangan yang berbentuk barangan dapur seperti beras, minyak dan barangan keperluan dapur yang lain di samping sedikit cenderahati kepada anak-anak yatim tersebut demi menggembirakan mereka.
