Great Vision Charity is thankful to have a group of dedicated volunteers and grateful beneficiaries. Rakan Shopping Program on September 2017 was a success with the contribution of our donors and volunteers!
On Malaysia Day, 16th Sept 2017, 9 families from Flat Taman Sungai Besi has benefited from the program. We had the most appreciative beneficiaries this time when they thank us numerous time for the donation of RM100 Tesco cash voucher to shop for their necessities. On top of that, Great Vision Charity would like to thank an anonymous good hearted donor for the additional donation of a bag of rice for each family.
During our visit to the families home, we learned that one of the families have to skip meals to save the food for their family. Some of them have to support their family member who is sick and often times they go hungry.
Throughout the shopping session, the families were accompanied by the volunteers. Everyone had a good time spent together on Malaysia Day.
