I’m Jeff from Great Heart Charity Association. Now I wish to support the fundraising of RM500 000 for our sister NGO Great Vision Charity Association. This amount are mainly use for their charity expenses in Year 2021.I have been joining Great Vision for few times, their charity works are very meaningful for beneficiaries. The main charity they do are bring underprivileged families to buy groceries and support students from under privileged families to study university.For some of the poor families, I found that their children might be performing very well in their school result. However, family’s financial situation force them must go to work and earn money as soon as possible. In this case, some of them might lost focus on their study, even some of them force to abort the chance to further study. In our eyes, we maybe will feel kind of pity, but they really have not much choice because of their financial situation.The reason I support the fundraising for Great Vision Charity Association is because I believe the support they giving to the student will really change their future life, it is very important toward them. -

Apa yang korang tahu tentang kerja amal kebajikan? Kerja amal kebajikan ni adalah 1 platform untuk membentuk/ melatih diri untuk membentuk sikap kesularelawan didalam diri.Masyarakat selalu memandang mudah bab kerja amal ni. Kebanyakannya merasakan bahawa wujudnya kerja amal ni sebab ada golongan – golongan mengambil kesempatan diatas kemurahan hati sesetengah pihak.Memang diakui bahawa ada sesetengah penerima bantuan memang mengambil kesempatan diatas kemurahan hati NGO. Namun jangan pukul rata dan anggap semua penerima bantuan adalah sama. Bantuan yang disalur kepada mereka ini ibarat talian hayat/ peluang kedua untuk mereka meneruskan hidup. Kita mungkin selesa dengan hidup kita namun harus diingat ada individu/ keluarga yang kurang berkemampuan terutama dari golongan B40 yang masih meraba – raba untuk meneruskan hidup.Tahun 2020 & 2021 adalah tahun yang suram buat Malaysia akibat Pandemik Covid-19. Tahun 2022 merupakan tahun untuk seluruh rakyat Malaysia bangkit semula selepas kita akhirnya berjaya mengatasi pandemik ini. Namun, harus diingat bahawa kesan Pandemik Covid-19 ini turut dirasai oleh segenap lapisan masyarakat tidak terkecuali individu/ keluarga dari golongan B40.Persatuan Harapan Mulia telah melancarkan #HarapanMuliaCampaign sebagai salah 1 inisiatif bersasar untuk membantu golongan ini. Kita memfokuskan 2 langkah iaitu:- Bantuan barangan runcit & keperluan asas melalui Rakan Shopping Project
- Bantuan elaun sara hidup untuk pelajar dari kalangan B40 untuk meneruskan cita – cita mereka melanjutkan pengajian ke tahap yang lebih tinggi melalaui Didik Kasih Educare Program.

在我6年的慈善之路上，我看过了好多，好多的贫穷家庭。很多人很喜欢问我两个问题:1) 为什么你要做慈善？ 2) 什么原因导致这么多人穷苦至需要慈善的帮忙？老实说，我并没有很伟大或感人的原因去选择加入慈善社工这条路，纯粹以一个很单纯的心，想要从事一份真心可以去帮助真正的贫困人士的工作，可以接触到他们再帮到他们，感觉很有意义，就一直这样做了6年对于为什么这么多人会生活在困境里，我有一个听起来很玄的答案，但是的的确确是非常真实的，那就是 “教育”！ 在我们帮助的贫穷家庭里，很多父母都是从事比较低收入的工作（清洁工人，厂工，散工）等等。他们很想要给与一个好教育给他们的孩子，给他们去补习，上大学等等，可是经济上的他们根本没办法做到，所以孩子们的成绩都是平平，而且想到上大学需要每个月在外面租房和吃饭的生活费，他们反而就不鼓励孩子去上大学了。没有学历的孩子，到最后往往会步回父母的后尘，从事低收入的工作，导致 B40 community 已日渐长。今年4月的时候，我听到一个贫穷家庭的妈妈, Puan Rubayah 说到：“今天我很心疼，因为我的孩子告诉我她想要上大学，为了完成他的梦想，我向亲朋戚友借了 RM2900 来帮他偿还大学报名费，可是我的孩子告诉我他需要一个电脑来做功课，我却完全没有办法”当下听了，真的感觉很遗憾。如今的年代已经和以往不同，以前和政府借 PTPTN 已足够支撑学费和生活费，如今的年代 PTPTN 只能够给予学费，但是生活费，交通费，书本电脑等等的开销，贫穷家庭的小孩就算在学校假期去打工，都无法完全负担得起。 为了协助Puan Rubayah 和她的孩子, 耕心送了一架电脑给他的孩子，也亲身教导她的孩子如何使用这架电脑，也鼓励他们向宏愿慈善协会寻求帮助。如今，宏愿慈善协会（耕心姐妹协会）每月帮助贫苦家庭的孩子们上大学的生活费 RM250 长达12个月或更久, 再给予他们一次性RM1500 买书本或电脑来上网课等等。这些孩子都很听话，大学放假后常常会跑去打工来帮补家里的收入！我们只有给他们一个要求，就是在我们帮助他们的这个期间，他们得去做慈善的义工或举办小小的爱心活动，把我们给他们的爱心传给外面更多有需要的底层人士 如今，在新的一年2022里，宏愿慈善协会希望可以向大众做个凑款来继续帮助他们。RM30, RM50 或 RM100 都是对我们有很大的鼓励 爱心捐款： Persatuan Harapan Mulia （宏愿慈善协会） CIMB 800 360 0877感恩您的爱心! -

Play, Pray and Spray!Hey all! It’s your rising, striving and aspiring to be good, do good girl! Well, professionally, most knows me as Fiqah – and casually, 80% of the people I know calls me ‘Gar’! Let me start with talking about what I do in real life.I’m a 24 years old, dedicated and aspiring social worker – working with Great Heart Charity Association along with other sister NGOs – Great Vision Charity Association, Earth Warriors Association and Persatuan Kebajikan Kasih Semadi!I’ve started working since I’m 19? Or maybe 20 years old – right after I graduated from my Diploma in 3D Animations. I’ve had several roles in my career, started with graphic designer, telemarketer, working in production house, social media writer and leaped to being a pledged copywriter - and now working as a social media team member here!It’s funny how my life journey goes, as I’ve always tryna be independent and have been moving here and there; to pursue my career, and my job. Gaining experience with all the works I’ve done; I’ve decided to be stronger to achieve more for my future.I came to Great Heart in July 2021, almost a year now! It’s really a change of culture, surrounding, experience and eye-opening moments when I started here. All this time, I’ve always thought that working in NGO is, like, literally – volunteering. Never have I thought that there would be a fully operating team that works together to provide support, aid and assistance to those in need. As I started my career here, in the social media field, and as a social worker – I’ve come to realise that Doing good has no boundaries.Your every action, movement, steps and effort towards doing good, everything matters. As small as holding the door open for others, to cleaning together and even by just saying thank you. All those actions are common in our daily life, but they bring warmth and indescribable feelings of harmony. Coming back to the fundraiser! I have volunteered several times with Great Vision Charity Association or Persatuan Harapan Mulia. I’ve gone through multiple Rakan Shopping sessions where we will be shopping for groceries and get items from the wishlist of the families themselves! We will then send over the groceries to their home, in PPR (Projek Perumahan Rakyat); if you don’t know what this is, PPR is a low-cost home for underprivileged families, mainly from the B40 category. Meeting these families, seeing how some single parents with children to care of, with health issue that are to be sacrificed for lacking the financial backing to go through treatment or just a super big family with low income to sustain trying to push through the struggle, and make their life better, grateful to even have a plate of rice on the table to feed their family. I’ve come to realise that what our support has given them. The monthly grocery aid for these families have given them hope, and privilege to live like any other family out there. With this monthly grocery purchase, they get to use high quality, best goods for the month. It is truly an eye-opening moment as I realise that they need the help, more than others. I’ve always come to think that my family situation is unfortunate. My mother is a single parent, struggling with sickness to raise me and my younger brother. We don’t always have enough, but we manage to still live together. Sharing the great things when it come and sharing the difficulties until it passes by. When I came into Great Heart, they offered me support and they heard my struggles, took into consideration of my difficulties – and now, here I am, going great with my job, and YES! Got married to my husband, – who is super supportive of my career and will ALWAYS volunteer for charity works with me too! OH and as for the Didik-Kasih EduCare program, I’ve always wanted to pursue my degree for a chance to improve my life. However, I decided that working is the best for me now, and maybe pursuing the degree will come – in any future. As for my brother, he got to pursue his studies and is doing his degree now. When Great Vision heard of my brother, they offered me to apply for their Didik-Kasih program for my brother – knowing the struggles my family is facing. I told my brother to apply for it, he prepared all the documents, went through the interview and BAM! He is one of the Didik-Kasih students now! Talking from my family’s own perspective, we are really really grateful that we receive this aid. My brother’s studies fee, e-learning costs and materials needed requires a decent sum of money to actually be able to learn comfortably. With the aid given, my mother can worry less about my brother’s internet bills, phone bills, study equipments and others. And to top that, my brother is also given the opportunity to volunteer, learn more about giving back to the community and to share the happiness. #HarapanMulia is a campaign to fundraise for Great Vision Charity Association, in hope to sustain the expenses, operating costs and to maintain the programs for 2023. I have decided to join the campaign as a fundraiser, and to raise a total amount of RM3,000!As I’ve mentioned before, since I spend my free times playing online PC games with my friends, I have decided to host a charity livestream fundraiser on my Twitch channel, and might bring it to Facebook Channel as well! Together with my group of friends, they will be streaming together with me to support the cause and we hope that it will go well for the whole month! Program Seed 4 Our Live merupakan program kesukarelawanan dikalangan mahasiswa UPSI dimana kami menyahut cabaran Kerajaan dalam melaksanakan kempen penanaman 100 juta pokok bakau menjelang tahun 2025.Antara manfaat pokok bakau adalah mampu menahan hakisan ombak di persisiran pantai yang mana ia dapat memberi kesan yang positif kepada masyarakat umum sekali gus dapat memberi manfaat kepada eco sistem haiwan - haiwan yang menjadikan hutan paya bakau sebagai habitat mereka .Visi dan Misi kami adalah untuk menyahut seruan kerajaan dalam pelaksanaan kempen ini dan menanam 500 pokok bakau di persisiran pantai.Program ini juga mendapat sokongan daripada Jabatan Perhutanan Negeri Selangor dimana kami berkolaborasi bersama pihak jabatan perhutanan. -

Introduction
The Shopping Buddy Program is a program conducted by the association on the third Saturday of each month, where 10 selected underprivileged families will be invited for a groceries shopping session with volunteers from the association. RM100 cash vouchers would be handed out to each selected families, which is hoped could help ease the burden of the families. It is a program that is run by the Great Vision Charity Association in collaboration with other partner association members so that they could influence more members to act as volunteers for charitable events.Pengenalan
Program Rakan Shopping adalah program yang dijalankan oleh pihak persatuan pada hari Ahad ketiga setiap bulan, di mana 10 keluarga kurang bernasib baik terpilih akan dijemput ke sesi membeli-belah barangan keperluan rumah dengan sukarelawan dari persatuan itu. Baucar tunai RM100 akan diberikan kepada setiap keluarga yang terpilih, yang diharap dapat membantu meringankan beban keluarga-keluarga tersebut. Program ini dijalankan oleh Persatuan Harapan Mulia dengan kerjasama ahli-ahli persatuan-persatuan dan badan-badan rakan supaya mereka boleh mempengaruhi lebih ramai ahli untuk bertindak sebagai sukarelawan dalam aktiviti-aktiviti amal. -

拉拔的双手近年来，陆续看到很多被帮助的对象逐渐能够自力更生，过程中的锻炼不止是养活自己的能力，也锻炼自己如何在艰难的生活中变得强大起来。很多时候，他们只需要被赋予一个被拉拔的双手，就能够站稳脚步，继续的往前走。这么多年来，我们清楚明白除了物质上的帮助，其实他们更需要的是一个指引、方向、或者可以需要说一个导师来引领他们脱离生活的困境。宏愿慈善协会的使命就是为受惠者发掘自身的潜力，从而给与教化、引导及鼓励，让他们从受惠者变成施於者。本协会的受惠者是贫困家庭以及贫困的大学生。我亲自见过很多自力更生的弱势群体，无论是从影像的记录或者参与审查，他们至诚的感谢，的却是因为大家的帮助，改变了他们一生的命运。我希望大家都能够可以响应这个捐款的活动，为明年的慈善款项能够帮助到175个大学生240个贫穷家庭。我在此感谢大家的支持，也欢迎大家转发，让更多人能够响应这个捐款活动。谢谢。耕心慈善协会大众教育策划组组长 鄧妙慧 敬启 -

Hello and very good morning! I would like to begin by introducing myself. My name is Nur Alfadina Binti Mohd Borhan, but you can call me fafa or alfa and I am 20 years old. I am now pursuing a Diploma in Information Management at UiTM Rembau, Negeri Sembilan. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I am currently residing in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur.Next, I wanted to participate in this fundraiser with Great Vision Charity Association in order to gain new experience since this is my very first time participating in this program. Other than that, I am also a student from the Didik Kasih program who receives a monthly allowance from Didik Kasih, I was curious how challenging it is to obtain the fund.
